Our Guidelines and Rules represent the current state of scientific development and industry practice.<\/p>\n<div id=\"teaser_75\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #888888;\">\u00a0Self-Elevating Platforms &#8211; Guidelines for Elevated Operations<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>These guidelines will be used by Lloyd Alman for the assessment of self-elevating platforms in the elevated condition. They address:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General feasibility studies, including optional checks for punch-through resistance and fatigue; such studies may result in a Statement of Compliance<\/li>\n<li>Assessment for specific locations; such studies may result in a Certificate of Approval.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"teaser_80\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #888888;\">\u00a0Guidelines for Loadouts<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>These guidelines have been developed for the loadout of items including offshore jackets, SPAR sections, modules, bridges and components from the shore onto floating or grounded barges and ships.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"teaser_79\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #888888;\">\u00a0Concrete Offshore Gravity Structures<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>These guidelines have been developed Lloyd Alman for the marine aspects of construction, towage and installation of offshore concrete Gravity Base Structures (GBS) with a deck.\u00a0 They are intended to be applicable to deep draft structures, where much of the construction work is carried out afloat, as well as shallower draft structures where the construction of the GBS can be essentially completed in dry dock.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"teaser_78\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #888888;\">0016\/ND Rev 6 &#8211; 06 December 2010 Seabed and Sub-seabed Data for Approvals of Mobile Offshore Units<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>These guidelines describe\u00a0 the seabed and sub-seabed data required by Lloyd Alman to assess the suitability of locations for self-elevating (jack-up) platforms, anchor installation and performance assessments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"teaser_77\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #888888;\">\u00a0Guidelines for the Approval of Towing Vessels<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>These Guidelines are intended to lead to an approval by Lloyd Alman for entry into the Towing Vessel Approvability Scheme. They also provide guidance for the approval of towing vessels for a specific tow and bollard pull tests. They do not cover the towage of specific vessels or barges, guidance for which may be found in 0030\/ND.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"teaser_76\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #888888;\">Guidelines for Marine Lifting Operations<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This document provides guidelines on which the design and approval of marine lifting operations may be based.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"teaser_82\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #888888;\">Guidelines for the Transportation and Installation of Steel Jackets<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This report sets out the guidelines on which Lloyd Alman approval of the transportation and installation of steel offshore jacket structures would be based.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"teaser_81\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #888888;\">\u00a0Guidelines for Marine Transportations<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>These guidelines will be used by Lloyd Alman for approval of specialised marine transportations, including:<\/p>\n<p>a.\u00a0Cargoes on ships or towed barges<\/p>\n<p>b.\u00a0Towage of self-floating marine and oilfield equipment, civil engineering structures and ships<\/p>\n<p>but are not normally intended to apply to \u201cstandard\u201d cargoes such as bulk liquids, bulk solids, refrigerated cargoes, vehicles or containers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"teaser_84\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #888888;\">Guidelines for Float-over Operations<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Offshore pre-installed structures, e.g. jackets and concrete units, or<\/li>\n<li>Offshore or inshore floating structures, e.g. TLPs, concrete units and semi-submersibles.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"teaser_83\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #888888;\">Guidelines for Moorings<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Offshore catenary or taut leg moorings of mobile offshore units (MOU)<\/li>\n<li>Offshore catenary or taut leg mooring of floating offshore installations (FOI)<\/li>\n<li>Inshore mooring of MOUs and FOIs, e.g. for stacking<\/li>\n<li>Temporary mooring of offshore installations in an afloat condition during construction, installation or decommissioning<\/li>\n<li>Quayside mooring of MOUs and FOIs, e.g. during maintenance or conversion<\/li>\n<li>Mooring of vessels during loadouts and installation operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"teaser_74\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #888888;\">IV &#8211; Industrial Services, Part 6 &#8211; Offshore Technology Chapter 1-6<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The\u00a0maritime Rules &amp; Guidelines of Lloyd Alman are developed through extensive research and development, the know-how and experience of our engineers and the close feedback of our worldwide network of surveyors.
